Downtown Salisbury is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and governed by a Board of Directors. DSI follows the ''Main Street Approach'' to downtown redevelopment, focused on historic preservation within and near the Municipal Service District. ''Friday Night Out'' Downtown events are fun for the entire family. ''Downtown Dollars'' can be purchased so your loved ones can buy what they want downtown! Santa Claus' mailbox is located downtown in December for mailing letters to the North Pole.
